There are a lot of arguments that the bible doesn’t support homosexual behavior or that the bible doesn’t say homosexual behavior is wrong. What if I am to say that both sides are wrong and I can prove it?
Let’s start with the number one passage that is used to prove that homosexuality is wrong.
Leviticus 18:5 – 24 NIV Translation:
5Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord.
6“ ‘No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the Lord.
7“ ‘Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.
8“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s wife; that would dishonor your father.
9“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.
10“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; that would dishonor you.
11“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
12“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister; she is your father’s close relative.
13“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s close relative.
14“ ‘Do not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.
15“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; do not have relations with her.
16“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife; that would dishonor your brother.
17“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.
18“ ‘Do not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.
19“ ‘Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.
20“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.
21“ ‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.
22“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.
23“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.
24“ ‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

Notice that when most of the verses in this passage talks about men having sex with women, it says, “Do not have sexual relations with ” SUBJECT”. When talking about men having sexual relations with other men it says “Do not have sexual relations with a man AS ONE DOES with a WOMAN; that is detestable”. BUT when it talks about sexual relations with an animal, it says”Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it”.
Question! Why did God make it clear that men should not have sex with other men AS ONE DOES with a WOMAN, and yet doesn’t say the same about ANIMALS? Could it be that men are permitted to have sex, but cannot have sex AS ONE DOES with a WOMAN? Could it be that men cannot have sex with animals at all? If this is true, then what does it mean by not having sex AS ONE DOES with a WOMAN? Could it be that when men place their sexual organs in a location that does not belong that God sees it as detestable?
There is no argument that God created only two genders in the human race. Male (Masculine) and Female (FEMININE). We see in God’s Word that the sexual organs of each gender were designed to connect and create one whole person.

Genesis 1: 26-28 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
Genesis 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
When Male and Female enter into each other’s body, they become one. This is why God looks down upon a man entering another man or more then one man entering another woman. Marriage is Sacred! Marriage is Holy! Marriage is Designed by God! Everything designed by God has a Purpose! The purpose of sexual intercourse is not only to have two opposites become one in flesh, but also to repopulate the Earth. In other words, one of the purposes God created our male sexual organs was to create babies.

Before we go any further, we must understand that there is a downfall. Corruption! All of God’s creation was designed as being good and everything had a purpose, but the First Male disobeyed a simple rule. As a result all of creation with-in this universe was now corrupted. Even SEX was corrupted.
To understand this corruption, we need to understand what is natural and what is not. Natural is what causes Life, Growth, and Healing. Unnatural is what causes Death, Decay, and Diseases. Mankind is corrupted and we can choice to try a like a natural life or an unnatural life. Another way the bible describes human’s unnatural lifestyle is that human follow their “Fallen Nature” “Sinful Nature” “Old Self”, or “Their Lust for the Flesh”. This corrupted nature goes after the desire of things that are unnatural or of the supernatural that isn’t of God.
Galations 5:19-21 19 Now, the effects of the corrupt nature are obvious: illicit sex, perversion, promiscuity, 20 idolatry, drug use, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, angry outbursts, selfish ambition, conflict, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I’ve told you in the past and I’m telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit God’s kingdom.
As Christians, we are saved by God’s Grace through His One And Only Son, Jesus Christ. We are no longer under the Laws of Moses! Further more, if you are a Gentile (Someone who is not a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) you don’t have to worry about disobeying most of the mosaic laws. But there are some laws that we are to follow as Gentile Christians.
Acts 15:29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things…..
We just read at the beginning of this blog what God considered as sexual immorality. But you might wonder why most modern translated verses uses the word “homosexual” and always consider it a sin.
What I am about to say may either shock you or turn you off. I don’t believe homosexuality exists. Or at least our modern view of homosexuality. The words in the bible that was changed in modern translations to the word “homosexual” are “Sodomite” “Sodomy” and ” Arsenokoitai “.
Keep in mind that the word “homosexual” wasn’t invented till 1868 and was coined by Karl-Maria Kertbeny. The word “homosexuality” didn’t even show up in English translations of the Bible until 1946 Revised Standard Version (RSV).

The tremendous lesson in this actual conversation – is how a well educated man can be blinded by a single false presumption. The Rabbi in this discussion was extremely well educated in matters of Torah & other things. Yet, prior to this discussion, it had NEVER dawned on him that 2 men might be physically intimate without violating the Torah. That possibility had never crossed his mind because he had always presumed that same-gender intimacy always cumulated with AnalSex (a prejudice that the existence of g0ys’ movement instantly destroys). But here he was, now baffled by a man who didn’t violate the actual mitzvot – despite loving other men in full resolution! And yet the difference between violating this specific mitzvot or not, – is the matter
between life & death itself! So, if one of the most brilliant minds in Judaism can be blinded by a single false presumption; Then how much more, Christians (who tend to be much less knowledgeable of specific matters of Moses’ Law)! It has been said that “The Devil is in the details”. I find that the Devil willfully omits the details & his hold on false religion is by misrepresenting (w. false presumptions) critical details of the Law itself! The truth does indeed set men free.
What about scripture that mentions homosexuality and claims it as a sin? The fact is that every time you read the term “HOMOSEXUAL” in the Scripture, you’re looking at a mistranslation. The original-language source texts never even hint that such a word is to be used in translation! I cannot understate the accursed seriousness of this trend of releasing translations of the Scriptures that are CORRUPTED & do NOT accurately relay the meaning of the text they allegedly “translate” (especially on this topic)! And at this juncture – millions of people have been LIED TO! The ONLY way to know if a translation of the Bible is accurately rendered is to read it in parallel with a source-language concordance -such as Strong’s. Many electronic Bibles allow this and actually have Strong’s numbers associated with the related translated text for quick reference. In an age where Bible translations are numerous – the great irony is that so many of them are awash with false renderings of the actual Scriptures.

No Bible before the Revised Standard Version in 1946 used “homosexual” in any Bible translation! The most obvious fact is that the term “HOMO” is Greek (“ὁμο”) in origin – meaning “alike” or “the same”. The New Testament was predominantly written in Greek. Nevertheless, the term “HOMO” is NEVER connected with ANY sexual activity described negatively in the original Scripture languages! NEVER! Ironically – the term “HETERO” (which means the exact opposite of HOMO) IS CONNECTED to a form of sexual immorality. In Jude we find the following:
“Even as Sodom and `Gomorrah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.” – Jude 1:7
STRANGE FLESH? The Greek term is: “σαρκὸς ἑτέρας” — ETERAS SARKOS. Notice the term Jude uses is the Greek: “ETERAS” (In English “Hetero” -a Greek-term-opposite of “Homo”) in describing Sodom’s sin!
Why? Because whatever Sodom was up to violated Leviticus 19:19 (mixing different sorts). “STRANGE FLESH”.
If the issue with Sodom had been SAME-sex attraction, the author would have used the Greek term that was readily available: HOMO. But, he didn’t! Yet despite the fact that the author chose NOT to use the term “Homo” (but its exact opposite); certain translators twist his words into the very opposite of what he wrote! Apparently, they claim know more about the meaning of Scripture than the man who wrote it! How convenient for these “translators” to be of such authority as to put aside the actual word of God in order to keep their own views!
There are many translations with this verse…. It talks about the rapture when Jesus returns to take His people.
Luke 17:34 (KJV) I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
The question is: If Jesus returns while you are sleeping with your bro, will you both be gone, or just one of you?

Did you know that a Roman centurion in ancient Capernaum asked Jesus to heal his servant (Luke 7). A few New Testament scholars have suggested that the servant was actually the centurion’s lover, based on a few words used (and not used) in the Gospels.
It’s a minority view but here is the argument in short: He is first described by Luke as a δοῦλον (doulon), the word used almost everywhere else in the New Testament for “servant” or “slave.” Luke also describes him as ἔντιμος (entimos), which means “highly valued,” “precious,” “dear,” etc. Yet the centurion calls him not “doulon,” but παῖς μου (pais mou), which is “my boy” or “my son.
Some scholars suggest that this relationship is the reason the centurion says he is not “worthy” (ἠξίωσα) for Jesus to enter his house, words we repeat every day at Mass.
To me, this is a stretch. (And, again, it’s a minority view among New Testament scholars, as far as I know.) Other scholars say that “pais” simply can mean that the servant was a young man.
But even if the man was simply a “doulon,” or servant, the story is no less remarkable. For notice how Jesus treats someone who is not part of the Jewish world at all (though he built the town’s synagogue). Rather than castigating the centurion for not being Jewish and being a “pagan,” who probably worships multiple Roman gods, Jesus treats him with respect, compassion and sensitivity. He praises the centurion’s faith and then heals his “pais.”
It’s a reminder of how Jesus treats people on the margins, with welcome, not condemnation.
